Our Practice - FAQs Frequently Asked Questions Are we taking new patients? Yes. We're pleased to accept new patients. It's requested first-time patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork. Will I need to bring records from my previous dentist? Yes, if possible. We understand changing dental care providers can be a sensitive issue. We make it a point to support you with your transition and can advise you on the best method to obtain your records. How long until I can get an appointment? We know it can be frustrating to wait for an appointment to see a dentist. Our commitment is to make it possible for every patient to see one of our dentists within 24-hours of their call. Naturally, we'll make every possible attempt to accommodate your schedule. Patients are also welcome to book reservations days and weeks in advance. What if I have a dental emergency? If you have a dental emergency during normal office hours, we make every effort to see you that day. In addition, one of our dentists is always on call for emergencies after business hours, available through an answering service. Barring unforeseen circumstances, there are no extra charges for emergency calls. What if I have to cancel or reschedule an appointment on short notice? We understand occasions arise on short notice where appointments will need to be canceled or changed. Please notify us with as much notice as possible. We reserve the right to impose a failure-to-show fee in some cases. What are our office hours? We see patients from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Fridays. How much does an initial exam cost? The fee is $100 for a new patient exam. Diagnostic X-rays are additional. What are the costs for additional treatments? We understand cost is of primary concern. We make it a point to explain your specific dental needs and the costs involved. Fees are discussed during appointments-and we're pleased to offer several financial options to help make treatment possible. Do we participate with insurance plans? We do not participate with any insurance plans. However, we will support you with all the necessary documentation in order for you to file with your insurance company. Do we have parking available? Parking is available in the building at a small cost. There is also metered public parking along the streets immediately outside the office building. Are we accessible by Metro? Yes. We are on the Red Line at the Bethesda stop. We are approximately five blocks (one-half mile) walking distance. How do I know if I'm a candidate for Teeth In An Hour? Many people are candidates for this amazing technique. The first step is to make an appointment and have a thorough examination by one of our dentists. For those who aren't candidates, there are numerous advanced treatments that provide dental restoration quickly and painlessly. In addition to Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, do we also offer Preventative Dentistry? Good dental health requires daily care, along with periodic exams and cleanings. As a premier full-service practice, our commitment is to provide every patient with long-term comprehensive and personalized care. Do we welcome out-of-town patients? Yes. Many patients come to us from around the United States. Some even travel from abroad. We'd be glad to assist with travel arrangements. With our state of the art procedures, and top-notch professionalism, we make it a point to cater to all our patients' needs, whether you're from another zip code or next door. What airports and railroads serve the region? Our ideal location in the nation's capital region allows us convenient access to three major airports. The region is served by Ronald Reagan National Airport, Dulles International Airport and Baltimore/Washington International . There are also several private airfields. We are also reachable via Amtrak, which makes numerous daily stops at Washington's Union Station. What hotels are nearby? Bethesda offers a number of top-notch accommodations.
